The official start of summer is always a great day for me, and sharing it with this cutie made it even better! Last Friday RAND participated in our first "Take Your Dog to Work Day,"an annual event now in its 15th year, created to celebrate our canine companions and promote adoption from humane societies, animal shelters, and breed rescue clubs.
Snickers made my day when he popped up onto my lap for a quick snuggle. His owner, RAND's HR Associate Catherine Carr, saw how well we got along and invited me to tag along with her and the little guy to the dog run at Madison Square Park, a few blocks from RAND's office. It was an excellent way to start the summer and end the week. Come back to visit, Snickers!
