Sub-cycle 8C Facade Inspection Filing Deadline Approaching
The 8th Cycle of NYC's Facade Inspection Safety Program (FISP, formerly Local Law 11/98) is coming to a close. The filing deadline for Sub-cycle 8C is just six months away on February 21, 2019.
Owners of buildings in Sub-cycle 8C (block numbers ending in 1, 2, or 3) must have their buildings inspected and their 8th Cycle facade inspection reports filed with the NYC Department of Buildings by the deadline to avoid $250/month and $1,000/year penalties.
We recommend that building owners and managers schedule their FISP inspection soon to avoid the rush that will follow as the filing deadline approaches.
