Mark your calendars! Significant NYC and Jersey City building compliance deadlines are fast approaching including, FISP Cycle 9C, Local Law 126's Periodic Inspection of Parking Structures (PIPS), Jersey City Ordinance 21-054 facade inspections, and much more. Meeting these deadlines is imperative to stay in compliance, avoid costly fines and violations, and maintain the safety of your buildings.
Buildings with block numbers ending in 1, 2, or 3, the deadline to file your FISP 9C report is February 21, 2024. The lead time for a typical inspection and filing is now 3 to 5 months. Act now to schedule your facade inspection and avoid late filing penalties.
Parking Structure Inspection Reports Due This December
NYC now requires parking structures to be inspected by a licensed engineer every 6 years as part of the Periodic Inspection of Parking Structures (PIPS) Program, per Local Law 126. Most Manhattan garages must be inspected and compliant by December 31, 2023.
