In honor of our 30th anniversary, RAND is pleased to announce our 30 Days of Giving “Pay it Forward” Initiative. Starting October 1, RAND employees began participating in different acts of charity and kindness - both small and large - each day of the month in an effort to encourage each other and those around us to make a positive difference.
In its first weeks, RAND employees have already raised funds for Light and Hope for Puerto Rico, brought blankets to an animal shelter, bought lunches and dinners for the homeless, and baked treats in appreciation for fellow coworkers. To join us, just perform a random act of kindness. If you document it on social media, include #RANDGivesBack.
RAND's 30 Days of Giving events include:
- A virtual food drive for City Harvest
- Karaoke night to collect children's book donations for New Alternatives for Children (NAC)
- Halloween costume drive for children at Floating Hospital
- Trivia tournament fundraiser where teams earn money for the charity of their choice by correctly answering a broad range of trivia questions.
- Go Pink Day benefiting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. RAND will donate $25 to the foundation for each employee that wears some pink to work.
RAND is proud of our commitment to helping others, inspired by the passion of our employees. Serving those in the communities where we live and work is the cornerstone of our RAND Gives Back program. As part of the program, RAND strives to contribute at least 1% of the firm’s gross billing through volunteering and charitable giving. Not only does RAND Gives Back benefit those in need, but it also offers employees the opportunity to donate their time and talents in ways meaningful to them.
