Webinar: Everything You Need to Know About Facade Inspection Safety Program (FISP) 9th Cycle

Facade Inspection Safety Program (FISP) compliance continues during the COVID-19 pandemic with new requirements for the 9th Cycle, which began this past February. In light of a pedestrian's tragic death almost one year ago from falling masonry, and also taking into account recent cavity wall failures and the city's aging building stock, it's more critical than ever that building owners proactively maintain their facades in safe condition.

To help you navigate through all FISP 9th Cycle requirements - both old and new - RAND Engineering & Architecture, DPC would like to invite you to a free webinar led by RAND President Stephen A. Varone, AIA and Senior Engineer Suzanne Weiss.

Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM EST

The approximately 60-minute webinar and question-and-answer session will cover the following:

  • What's new for the 9th Cycle, including: additional hands-on inspections, probe investigations, and facade condition certificates
  • How the new requirements will affect the cost of inspection
  • Changes to the rule regarding Unsafe and SWARMP conditions
  • Increased penalties and fines
  • Cost-saving alternative methods of inspection
  • COVID-19's affect on FISP
  • and more...
