Continued Commitment to Safety and Our Clients

Dear Clients and Friends,

As a construction industry Architectural/Engineering firm involved in projects affecting building infrastructure and public safety, RAND is designated as an essential business per Governor Cuomo’s “New York State on Pause” Executive Order, which means we continue to be fully engaged in all our projects as long as proper precautions can be maintained at all times, and remain open and available to provide services to help our clients achieve and maintain safe conditions at their properties.

During this very fast-moving situation, we have been updating our operating and safety procedures in accordance with CDC, WHO, and local, state, and federal guidelines as we continue our work to ensure the safety of our staff and clients while doing our part in reducing the spread of COVID-19 within our community.

The majority of our RAND team is now working remotely and focused on performing our work in as safe a manner as possible, particularly at building sites. In addition to the policy and health protocols we enacted on March 16, 2020, all staff members are required to perform site work wearing a protective mask and gloves, as well as practice social distancing at all times. We have also suspended in-person meetings – all meetings will be conducted via teleconference or video conferencing until further notice.

Thank you to all our clients and friends for your cooperation during this difficult time. We recognize that where we find ourselves is without precedent, with many complex challenges ahead. What we have built at RAND over the last 33 years will serve us well during this crisis, as we are extremely well-positioned to continue to provide our clients with high level and responsive services with as minimal disruption as possible. Our staff remains available to answer your calls and emails and discuss any concerns you may have regarding your projects.
