We're proud to announce RAND's fifth annual blood drive in partnership with American Red Cross was another success. This year we had 20 whole blood donors and 3 Power Red donors, making our official tally 26 pints of blood collected, a record collection for our humble blood drive, and a great way to cap off RAND's 30th anniversary year!
RAND has been hosting the blood drive in our Central Meeting Space at our office in the Chelsea neighborhood Manhattan since 2012. In these five years, our blood drive has collected a total of 113 units, a potential 339 lives saved.
Thank you to all our staff, friends, and neighbors who participated. We'd like to especially thank our friends at La Mano Pottery and Mentoring USA for joining us.
