Catherine Carr takes the spotlight for the RANDy Rollers at the Corporate Bowling Showdown at Frames.
Last Tuesday night after work six coworkers and I joined forces for our first foray in the Corporate Bowling Showdown at Frames, a bowling alley and lounge on the corner of 9th Avenue and 40th Street in Manhattan. With our mission to leave no pins standing, we struck, split, and spared—and, yes, occasionally ended up in the (coolly lit) gutter.
After week one of the 10-week competition, our RANDy Rollers team is closely trailing in second place. (OK, there are only three teams so far, but still.) By the end of the showdown, we fully intend to be King Pin and bring home the prize of a $3,000 holiday party at Frames.
It was a fun night all around, and RAND is ready to roll again next week. Pins beware!
