When property management firm Midboro Management moved their offices to 333 Seventh Avenue in Chelsea, they turned to RAND to design the build-out and administer the construction for the project. The newly configured 5,000-square-foot space entailed architectural, HVAC, electrical, and lighting systems, including:

  • Reception and lobby area, extendable conference rooms, executive offices, data and server rooms, kitchen, mailrooms, workstations, and bathroom design
  • Furniture, appliances, carpeting, and finishes selected
  • Custom millwork
  • Split air conditioning systems installed in office spaces and server room
  • New electrical and lighting system layouts.

Contractor Nutech Construction performed the work.

In 2002, RAND also designed and administered an HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire-protection systems upgrade at Midboro's previous office location at 148 West 37th Street.
