RAND Receives an Honorable Mention on List of Hot Firms

New York, October 2007

On the heels of being named one of Inc.'s 5,000 fastest growing private companies in the country, RAND Engineering & Architecture, PC, a 75-person New York-based firm founded in 1987, has received an honorable mention on The Zweig Letter Hot Firm 2007 List of fastest-growing architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firms in the United States and Canada. Firms were rated on the percentage and dollar growth in revenues from 2003 to 2006. RAND's revenue increased to $6,117,000 in 2006, a 95% increase from 2003.

"Despite the downturn in the national real estate market, the New York City area has remained strong, and we expect property owners will continue to see the importance of following regular repair and maintenance programs for their buildings," said Stephen Varone, AIA, RAND's president and founder. "In return, we've redoubled our efforts to recruit talented engineers and architects to help us maintain our growth."

The Zweig Letter is published by ZweigWhite, a Chicago-based consulting firm servicing the architectural, engineering, and construction industry.
