RAND Engineering & Architecture, DPC Becomes Approved NYC Accelerator Service Provider

New York, NY – RAND Engineering & Architecture, DPC is proud to announce it is now an approved NYC Accelerator Service Provider. The program, an initiative of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice, connects building owners and managers with the resources needed to decarbonize buildings, reduce energy and water consumption, and foster healthier, safer communities across New York City.

RAND brings extensive expertise in building systems evaluation, repair design, and construction administration to the program. With a focus on Local Law 97 compliance and energy efficiency improvements, RAND’s multidisciplinary team—including experts from our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) and Energy Services Teams—works closely with property owners and managers to demystify Local Law 97 requirements, develop compliance strategies, and create decarbonization plans that drive emissions reductions. Our team also implements practical, cost-effective energy upgrades that improve building performance and occupant comfort.

As part of this process, RAND also helps building owners secure financing by identifying affordable solutions and connecting them with funding providers. Through this partnership, RAND offers a range of services, including energy audits, strategic energy upgrades, capital planning, and consultation on energy efficiency measures to lower operating costs and improve building performance.

Connecting Multifamily Buildings with Energy Solutions and Incentives

RAND is also a NYSERDA Multifamily Building Solutions Network (MFBSN) provider, offering specialized guidance and technical support for multifamily buildings aiming to implement energy efficiency measures and access state incentives for sustainability upgrades. For affordable housing owners, RAND also serves as an Integrated Physical Needs Assessment (IPNA) provider, conducting comprehensive evaluations that integrate capital and energy needs. These assessments help property owners prioritize cost-effective improvements, enhance energy efficiency, and support long-term building sustainability—all while aligning with financing program requirements for affordable housing upgrades.
