RAND on the Roll Raises $13,000 for Charity

RAND Bowl-a-thon

RAND bowlers and volunteers were on a roll at our first ever Bowl-a-Thon fundraiser, which benefited New Alternatives for Children.

Last Tuesday evening, RAND hosted one-hundred plus guests for an evening of wine, food, and bowling, at New York’s Frames Bowling Lounge.

Although fun was certainly on the menu, the goal of the evening was to support New Alternatives for Children, an amazing organization dedicated to helping New York City’s most vulnerable youth.

A few words from Stephen Varone, RAND’s president, and Arlene Goldsmith, Director of NAC, kicked off an evening of strikes, spares, and the rare gutter ball. The guests ate, drank, laughed, and bowled the night away.

By the end of the evening, there were a few sore arms, new high scores, and some new friends, but most importantly we all had an opportunity to play a small part in helping NAC continue to provide kids with bright, successful, and independent futures.

Our first ever Bowl-a-Thon fundraiser was a success, raising $13,000 for NAC. A huge thanks to all of the support from our generous sponsors and guests. We could not have done it without you! We had a great evening and look forward to next year’s event.
