Merrie Sesskin Joins RAND as Business Development Director

NEW YORK, NY — RAND Engineering & Architecture, DPC, an employee-owned New York City–based engineering and architecture consulting firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Merrie Sesskin as Business Development Director. In this role, Merrie will help lead RAND’s client outreach, relationship development, and strategic growth initiatives across the metropolitan region, with a focus on expanding market presence and developing new opportunities.

Merrie has more than 20 years of experience in business development, market positioning, and growth strategy, with an impressive track record of driving business growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding market presence across the architecture and engineering industry. She has held senior leadership roles at nationally recognized firms including HOK, Array Architects, FC Architects, daSILVA Environments for Health, Jack L. Gordon Architects, and Feller Engineering, and also served as Principal of Corporate Liaison Group.

Her career has focused on cultivating client relationships and helping firms enter new markets and win new work. While at Array, she helped generate $500 million in new capital projects, and over the course of her career, she has contributed to more than $1.5 billion in new capital work. Through her work at Corporate Liaison Group, Merrie helped position firms for high-profile opportunities involving developers such as Fortis Development and Lions Group, including Miami’s M Tower. She has also been recognized by Sokol Media in connection with its Top Women in Real Estate program.
